In the last post – Simple does not equate to Easy! – I drew up a list of frustratingly simple tasks that are “not easy” for me to accomplish.

As promised, I said I would elaborate more on this.

Luckily, the past week presented itself with 3 simple OUTCOMES which are the RESULTS of Hard Work. The simplicity of the outcomes was anything but easy.

  1. After 1 year and 3 months operating as a newly formed company in the United States, formulating a simplified understanding of our empiric & strategic process exported from Brazil for Educational Best Practices, we launched our new website: www.cwisted.com

  2. 14 years and 10 months since my chronic trauma injury resulted in 5 surgical procedures, the last 2 exactly 12 months apart in July 2022 and July 2023, I was able (not without pain) to walk 12 km at the San Diego Zoo and 11.5 km PLUS 7 extreme roller coasters at 6 Flags Magic Mountain. Over 1k sessions of Physical Therapy in 15 years, treatments, medication, wheel chairs, walkers, crutches, specialists, surgeries and transplants have been very hard.
Simple however was the decision to go through this process, as the alternative would be living without mobility. Making the simple decision for a complex process was only possible with the support of the best professionals in the world Christiano Trindade.

  3. My 14 year old daughter was given the opportunity for her first DREAM part time summer job as a gymnastics coach in training. She raved about this opportunity for 3 straight weeks UNTIL…. she was called for an interview with HR. Her excitement turned to fear and blocked her dreams instantly.
I told her that even though I am her mom, this is what I do for a living. I prepare professionals to go through scary moments, when very simple processes don’t feel easy inside. After many tears & frustrations, she went for the interview. The following day, she got an email congratulating her on her preparedness and was offered the job.

Being a mom is just so simple, but not once has it ever been easy!
